As the state government gradually scales back shelter and closure orders related to the coronavirus health emergency, our office will begin reinstating normal staffing and office hours. Some personnel may continue to work from home.
The governor has again extended legal prescriptive periods and other specified legal deadlines until June 5, 2020. (See Proclamation No. JBE-2020-59, attached). In the event further extensions are made, we will update this post.
State and federal courts continue to limit the conduct of trials and in-person proceedings in many instances. Allowance has been made for conducting limited business on a remote or emergency basis.
